GRAYSON COUNTY, Texas (KXII) - Grayson County commissioners approved an order Tuesday giving the county engineer authority to set speed limits, stop signs, and other traffic controls on county roads - cutting down a timeline that can take weeks or months.

Some county roads stretch for miles without a posted speed limit sign.

Commissioner Precinct 1 Josh Marr said the county's growth is making that a safety problem."As our county grows, our county roads become a little more crowded and potentially unsafe," Marr said.
