The Kerr County Commissioners Court held an open session at 9 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 28, at the Kerr County Courthouse, 700 Main St. The items discussed included the possible sale of 500 Hays St., a resignation and possible appointment to the Emergency Safety District No. 1 board, the resignation of Kerr County Commissioner of Precinct 4, Don Harris, as Justice of the Peace, extension of the burn ban for the county, a proclamation deeming October to be Night Sky Month, updates on The Cade Loop construction, several budget amendments, and the possible purchase of the former police building at 429 Sidney Baker from the city of Kerrville.
