Center Point opened up its District 29-2A volleyball campaign in a big way Tuesday when the hosting Lady Pirates defeated Harper 25-17, 16-25, 25-17, 25-20.

The win added to Center Point's win streak that reached 10 and put the Lady Pirates at 21-7 overall.

"The girls played with confidence. They played through the errors. They played to win. Kaylani (Ritter) had an outstanding game as well as Cobee (Beckerson)," coach Lovey Ortiz said.
