LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - Four students at Pine Tree High School have formed the campus's first all-female competitive welding team with their sights set on qualifying for the state competition.

The team, known as the "Arc Angels," consists of three seniors and one junior: Briana Galicia, Jacqueline Ramos Tomas, Valeria Ramirez, and Jimena Lozano.

The group received permission to use the name from a copyrighted contest in Houston, making them the only team outside of that event authorized to use the moniker.
