A Nacogdoches ISD dyslexia instructor has been chosen to participate in the newly created Texas Classroom Commission.

The press release from Gov. Abbott's office names Dannette Wofford, an instructor specializing in the education of students with dyslexia at Nacogdoches Elementary School, to the commission to help provide exemplary instruction to students across the state.

The commission consists of 21 accomplished educators chosen from across Texas to help shape the future of public education and strengthen student achievement in the classroom."Texas teachers have the talent, understanding, and expertise to ensure that every Texas student succeeds," said Gov. Abbott.
