WACO, Texas (KWTX) - A Waco man is facing first-degree felony charges after police say he attacked his neighbor with a metal jack handle and kicked him in the face during an altercation early Sunday morning.

Pedro Zabala, 46, was arrested on Aug. 16, 2026, and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon causing serious bodily injury, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by KWTX.
