Mo-Ranch Director of Communications and Community Relations Lisa Winters says her well-rounded position is "a little here and a little there." Mo-Ranch gives her the flexibility to split her time between working at the ranch and conducting ranch business in Kerrville.
"Mo-Ranch is heavily involved in the Hill Country community," she says.
"My favorite part of the job is being out and about, maintaining relations with Kerr County organizations. I'm on the boards of the West Kerr Chamber of Commerce and the Dietert Center, and active with the Executive Women's Club, and I've served on many others over the past 20 years, and it has been so rewarding. At Mo-Ranch I oversee our marketing, media relations, advertising, and community relations. And since the July 4 flood, I'm coordinating with volunteer teams from multiple Presbyterian churches and other groups wanting to stay at Mo-Ranch to help with long-term recovery efforts wherever needed." Her favorite example comes from the 2025 flood.
