AUSTIN, Texas (KLTV) - Texas is the 36th state to enact the NFHS shot clock rule.
The UIL Legislative Council passed the proposal at Monday's meeting in Austin.
The rule will add a 35-second shot clock for girls and boys varsity basketball games.
