The Texas General Land Office is hosting a free homeowner outreach event today in Texas City to help residents impacted by 2024 storms get connected with recovery assistance programs.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Moore Memorial Public Library, located at 1701 9th Ave. N in Texas City.

GLO representatives are on hand to walk homeowners through eligibility requirements and available programs for repairing, rebuilding or receiving reimbursement for storm-related damage.
