CONROE, Texas - The Montgomery County Animal Shelter is seeking the public's help fostering up to 60 dogs as they work to fix an air conditioning outage in two rooms.

The shelter says the county is actively working to fix the situation, but they critically need fosters while the work is being done.

"Opening your home as a Heat Wave Foster makes an immediate impact. It gives a dog a comfortable place to spend a few days while also creating desperately needed space inside the shelter," the shelter said.
