A sporting clays tournament to benefit the Early FFA will take place at the Brownwood Claybird Club on Saturday, Sept. 12.

Registration and practice is scheduled for 11 a.m., shooting starts at 1 p.m., and a dinner by Up in Smoke BBQ will follow at 5 p.m. Along with cash prizes and buckles to be awarded - $1,000 for first place, $750 for second place, and $500 for third place - there will be live music by Case Hardin, a cash bar, and a gun auction and silent auction.

Tickets at $250 include dinner for two and participation by one shooter, and can be purchased on the Early ISD website under the athletics tickets tab.
