Eagles claim Edgewood crown ahead of SAISD Tournament

Pleasanton Eagle varsity volleyball team won the 12-team Edgewood Tournament championship in San Antonio.

Pleasanton senior Sarah Clark leaps above the net to tip the ball over a Lanier defender during the Edgewood Tournament in San Antonio.

Clark and the Lady Eagles swept Lanier 2-0 (25-10, 25-12) en route to capturing the 12-team tournament championship title.

J Garcia | Pleasanton Express The Pleasanton Eagle varsity volleyball team claimed the tournament championship Saturday at the Edgewood Varsity Tournament following a dominant three-day stretch from Thursday, Aug. 13, through Saturday, Aug. 15.
