UTPB sweeps Lone Star Conference player awards for week two

UTPB football players JT Seagraves, Layne Horak, and Diego Chavarria sweep Lone Star Conference player of the week awards following a dominant 69-14 victory over Western New Mexico.

MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - The Falcons clinched the offensive, defensive and special teams player of the week honors following their 69-14 victory over Western New Mexico.

The award recipients are:Tight End JT Seagraves: LSC Offensive Player of the WeekDefensive Back Layne Horak: LSC Defensive Player of the WeekKicker Diego Chavarria: LSC Special Teams Player of the WeekAll three men contributed to UTPB's massive win.

The Falcons are back in action on Sept. 19 with a road game against Sul Ross State.
