GRAYSON COUNTY, Texas (KXII) - Crews are working through summer heat to finish the Grayson County jail expansion, which is on target for completion around October.

New beds to ease overcrowdingThe newly constructed phase of the expansion is on target to be completed around October, according to Capt. Jeremy Cox.

Once complete, the county will be able to rehouse a number of inmates from a portion of the existing jail into the new space.
