The body of 7-year-old Jor'Dynn Duncan has been exhumed months after prosecutors say she endured systematic cruelty and abuse before her death, according to her mother's attorney.
Duncan died Dec. 29 after prosecutors say she was tortured and abused inside a small home on Oak Street in Bayport, New York.
Her mother's attorney, Heather Palmore, said Portia Duncan gave the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office authorization to exhume her daughter's body.
