(Gray News) - A rapper from Tampa sent a letter to the judge presiding over his case asking for the death penalty.

Billy Adams, known as "Ace NH," was convicted in September of the murder of 22-year-old Alana Sims and her unborn child, WTSP reported.

At the time, a jury recommended Adams be executed, but the official sentencing hearing is scheduled for Dec. 1.
