A routine traffic stop Thursday night, Oct. 8, led to the arrest of a man wanted on two outstanding warrants issued by the Jourdanton Police Department.

At approximately 11 p.m., Officer Garcia of the Pleasanton Police Department was patrolling the 1500 block of West Goodwin Street when he observed a traffic violation and initiated a traffic stop.

During the stop, the driver was identified as Nicanor Garcia Jr. A records check revealed Garcia had two active warrants issued by the Jourdanton Police Department for injury to an elderly person and burglary of a habitation.
