Longview Fire Chief Greg Grimes, who was recently promoted after more than 30 years in the fire service, is profiled for his leadership of one of East Texas' busiest fire departments.

TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Tonight on East Texas Tonight, we're getting to know the man leading one of East Texas' busiest fire departments.

Greg Grimes was recently named Fire Chief of the Longview Fire Department after more than 30 years in the fire service.

Throughout his career, he's served as a firefighter, paramedic, instructor, rescue specialist, and leader during some of the state's most challenging emergencies.
