KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) - Bell County election judges and clerks spent the day in training sessions to prepare for the midterm elections.
The training took place at the Civic Center in Killeen, where people also stopped by a table to register to vote.
Training covers forms, machines, de-escalationJeanette Araiza, elections chief deputy for Bell County, said workers are being taught forms, how to work on the machines and how to de-escalate situations if issues arise."They're being taught as far as forms, working on the machines, making sure we're prepared as far as, if anything comes up or arises, how to deescalate a situation. Just getting prepared overall," Araiza said.
