BULLARD, Texas (KLTV) - The board of Bullard Independent School District has voted unanimously to place the current superintendent on paid administrative leave.

Dr. Micah Dyer was hired on March 17, 2026. Tonight, he will step aside, at least for now, due to what the school's public information called a "personnel matter."The statement from the district was released shortly after Monday night's meeting, and reads as follows:In the interest of being as transparent as possible, we are notifying you that at tonight's meeting on Oct. 5, 2026, of the Bullard ISD Board of Trustees, Superintendent Dr. Micah Dyer was placed on paid administrative leave.

The Board wants all BISD students, parents, and community members to know that this action does not extend from any allegations of any misconduct with students.
