PRAIRIE HILL, Texas (KBTX) - A lawn mowing chore turned into a life-threatening emergency Wednesday after a swarm of bees attacked a resident in Washington County.

First responders with the Prairie Hill Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to FM 50 near Westerfeld Road following reports of a severe bee attack.

According to officials, a resident was mowing along a fence line when he disturbed a swarm and was stung multiple times.
