TYLER, Texas (KLTV/KTRE) - North Texas quarterback, Tayven Jackson has been named The Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award National Player of the Week for the ninth week of the college football season.

Jackson completed 33 of 46 passes for 404 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for 41 yards in the 48-41 win over Florida Atlantic.

Jackson has five 300-yard passing games this season and two games with more than 400 yards passing.
