Creekside High opens next year HUTTO - Educators, students and residents gathered at the construction site of Hutto Independent School District's newest campus to leave their mark on the beam that will become part of the frame of Creekside High School.

Superintendent Jeni Neatherlin, school board trustees and Creekside Principal Meagan Coronado participated in the Oct. 15 ceremony for the district's second high school.

"The names and messages written on that beam may eventually be hidden behind walls, but they'll remain part of the school for generations to come. Just as the beam will help hold up the building, our community continues to lift up Hutto ISD students," district officials said in a Facebook post.
