WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Dressed as walking billboards, TxDOT workers took to the streets of downtown Wichita Falls Monday morning to raise awareness about pedestrian safety.
Street Team visited intersections throughout downtown, helping residents cross the street, sharing safety tips, and handing out high-visibility wristbands.
The event comes after nine pedestrians were killed in the Wichita Falls area last year.
