PERSHING COUNTY, Nev.

(KOLO/Gray News) - The Burning Man Project announced the deaths of two people at the 2026 event in the Black Rock Desert.

The first death was an attendee in his mid-50s who died after experiencing a medical emergency at Black Rock City, according to the Burning Man Project's website.
