TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - A Tyler family escaped without injury after their vehicle caught fire on the interstate July 12 while driving home from a Florida vacation, but the blaze destroyed everything inside - including a prosthetic arm the father depends on for daily tasks.

Zachary Larocque, his wife Samantha Brennan, their 6-year-old son Wyatt McRoberts, and 13-year-old second-cousin Zoey Robinson were on the road when other drivers on the interstate flagged them down."If those people on the interstate did not flash their lights at me or wave at me or anything like that, there's no telling what would have happened," Brennan said.
