A certified flight instructor was killed when the aircraft she was piloting crashed Saturday afternoon just off the runway at Sierra Sky Park Airport in Fresno, California.

Danna Eady, 41, had dreamed of becoming a commercial airline pilot and was in the cockpit doing what she loved when the aircraft went down.

Friends and fellow flight instructors remembered Eady as an adventurous, outgoing person who was passionate about flying.
