ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - FIRST ALERT 7 Forecast for Friday, July 24th, 2026: Very hot conditions continue across West Texas and southeast New Mexico today.

A Heat Advisory will go into effect this afternoon for parts of southeast New Mexico into the Guadalupe and Delaware Mountains from 1 PM to 9 PM. FRIDAYHeat levels continue to rise with widespread triple-digit heat expected once again.

Many areas will approach 105 degrees, especially along the River Valleys into the Rolling Plains.
