TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - The Tyler City Council approved a contract for BRW Architects to design the Fire Station 2 replacement.

On Wednesday the council deliberated and ultimately granted a $740,000 contract through the Half Cent Sales Tax Fund for the replacement of the station on Old Bullard Road.

The city recently announced the acquisition of an adjacent property that will be combined with the old station to create the grounds for the replacement.
