Converse man arrested for planning violent attack on Texas State Capitol, DPS says

A Converse man was arrested for planning a violent attack on the Texas State Capitol on October 1st and charged with felony terroristic threat against a public servant.

CONVERSE, Texas - A Converse man was arrested for planning a violent attack on the Texas State Capitol on Oct. 1 , according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Benny Caldera Jr., 40, was arrested Wednesday and charged with felony terroristic threat against a public servant, records show.

The charge is a third-degree felony.
