TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Tyler attorney Jarad Kent spoke about the opportunity for members of Tyler's legal community to come together and seek guidance through the Red Mass to help ensure their approach remains just and compassionate.

The Red Mass will be hosted by the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Oct. 5 at 6 p.m."I think as a as a member of the legal profession, you know, lawyers, judges, pretty much anybody involved in that field, we're dealing with folks that are going through hard times. I don't think it's anything particular this year, but really just a recognition of the of the importance of what we do and the troubles and problems that we deal with, and really asking for guidance, compassion, wisdom and justice in the decisions that we have to make."
