Zephyr 40, May 18 ZEPHYR - The Class A Division II No. 7 Zephyr Bulldogs kicked off the 2026 football campaign with a 40-18 home victory over the Class A Division I No. 16 May Tigers Friday night in the first meeting between the Brown County schools since 2019.

The Bulldogs raced out to a 26-8 lead after one quarter, which the Tigers trimmed to 26-18 by halftime.

But Zephyr was the only team to light up the scoreboard after halftime.
