BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - With school less than two weeks away, the Brazos County Health District is expanding access to immunizations and school physicals while urging parents to check their children's health each morning before sending them to class.
Felicia Benford, community relations manager for the Brazos County Health District, said the jump in patient visits at the start of every school year is significant, and the health district is already working to get ahead of it.
Clinics, extended hours and on-site immunizationsThe health district is holding extended clinic hours on August 6 and August 13, open until 6:30 p.m., so parents can bring children in for vaccinations after work.
