CASS COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - Cass County has temporarily banned outdoor burning for the next seven days, County Judge Travis Ransom announced Monday.

He said conditions would be reevaluated before the order expires to determine whether an extension is warranted."The cooperation of every resident helps protect lives, property and our volunteer firefighters," he said in a statement.
