LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - Longview ISD employee data may have been exposed after a software company notified the district Thursday of a "data security incident" within the company's systems.

Frontline Education, a company behind web-based administration software designed for K-12 school districts, acknowledged delays beyond its original timeframe for providing detailed data files to districts, according to a statement released by Longview ISD.

The district is following up with the company and will coordinate direct notices to affect employees, including the recommended steps and available support, according to a press release.
