Iola ISD sets new tax rate, up nearly 13 cents from this year
Iola ISD approves new property tax rate of just under $1 per $100 of property value, increasing nearly 13 cents from the previous year due to tax revenue from Terafab facility development.

IOLA, Texas (KBTX) - As development of Terafab continues, school districts receiving tax money from the facility are setting their tax rates around the influx of money coming to the area.
Iola ISD's property tax rate has been approved at just under $1 per $100 of property value.
"I think this is a really good, a really good, plan that we have adopted," board president Alex Pointer said.
