GRIMES COUNTY, Texas (KBTX) - Friday morning's budget hearing in Grimes County was supposed to be routine.

One by one, county workers stepped up to the podium and told commissioners they felt left behind, and things got personal fast.

The tension boiled over when Assistant Construction Supervisor Richard Gore told the court that his department had been warned: show up to speak, and there would be consequences."I'm not going to say any names. He knows who he is," Gore said.
