Venus High School 'Teacher of the Year' arrested for improper relationship with student

A former Venus ISD teacher was arrested for allegedly having an improper relationship with a high school student.

A former teacher in the Venus Independent School District is facing charges for allegedly having an improper relationship with a high school student.

What we know: Jamie Corder was arrested by the Cleburne Police Department on Sept. 3.

He was booked into the Johnson County jail and charged with an improper relationship between an educator and a student.
