TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Robert Ashton Fasang, 21, was released on bond Monday after a writ of habeas corpus hearing reduced his bond.

After court records indicated his indictment on Sept. 24 and the bond reduction Monday, Fasang posted his $500,000 bond Monday after being charged with intoxicated assault causing serious bodily injury to a peace officer on Sept. 18.

According to court records, Fasang's bond was reduced Monday from $1 million to $500,000.
