(WALB/Gray News) - A deacon for a church in Georgia, who is also a teacher, is facing charges after allegedly kicking a group of young kids off his bus and leaving them on the side of the road.

According to the incident report from the Albany Police Department, officers were called on Sunday, Oct. 11, to Oakridge Baptist Church.

When officers got there, they talked to a woman who said her three children (ages 12, 11, and 9) and their 10-year-old friend who they had invited to church, had been kicked off the church bus.
