TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - A Garland man is going to prison for 18 years after a jury conviction on charges related to human sex trafficking.

Damian Centorian Borens, 46, was one of four charged in March 2025 after an investigation into online advertisements and the transportation of a person from Mineola to Tyler, according to a Smith County District Attorney's Office news release.

The investigation was initiated through a reverse sting operation conducted by the Texas Anti-Gang Center and coordinated by the Texas Department of Public Safety, with assistance from the Smith County Sheriff's Office and the Smith County District Attorney's Office.
