"I grew up and graduated here and went to college, and moved away for a while, and now I'm back," Thompson said.

Thompson, a 2003 graduate of Bangs High School, is a 19-year teaching veteran and just finished her fifth year at J.B. Stephens, where she teaches art to grades kindergarten through fifth.
