LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - The Family Crisis Center of East Texas held its fourth annual 'Passion for Purple' luncheon to raise awareness of domestic violence and abuse in East Texas on Thursday.

The Family Crisis Center of East Texas provides resources, housing, counseling and more to survivors of domestic violence.

The 'Passion for Purple' luncheon is an opportunity to share their mission and to uplift survivors who may be experiecning domestic violence.
