HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) - More than 1,000 pounds of alleged methamphetamine were found hidden within a shipment of leeks at the Pharr International Bridge, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

On Aug. 22, CBP officers seized the alleged meth from a tractor-trailer traveling from Reynosa, Mexico, during a physical inspection.
