Both Boerne Champion varsity cross country teams have advanced to the 5A state meet after their performances at Monday's Region IV-5A meet in Corpus Christi, while the boys team had the individual winner after Shawn Edwards took first place in the boys' race.

The Champion boys finished second in the region and the Lady Chargers were third.

The top four teams and the top 10 individual runners not on an advancing team at regionals will run at the 2026 state meet in Round Rock at Old Settlers Park.
