PASADENA, Texas - A former department store at Pasadena Town Square Mall is being converted into a $75 million public health center as the city continues to face challenges with healthcare access.

The 60,000-square-foot Pasadena Square Health Center will occupy the former Dillard's location at 100 Pasadena Boulevard, with an expected opening in late 2028.

According to Harris Health, approximately 31% of Pasadena residents under age 65 lack health insurance, citing U.S. Census data.
