COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - College Station is starting a long-range planning effort aimed at reinvestment and redevelopment along the Harvey Road corridor, one of the city's busiest commercial areas and a key gateway near Post Oak Mall.

City planners say the Harvey District Plan will focus on the area generally bounded by the Highway 6 frontage road to Texas Avenue, and from Holloman Drive to Dominik Drive.

The goal is to create a roadmap for what the corridor could look like in the next 10 to 20 years, guiding future policy decisions, development standards and potential capital improvements.
