BEXAR COUNTY, Texas - Deputies are responding to an active scene near Pieper High School on Tuesday morning, according to BCSO.

According to a Bexar County Sheriff's Office social media post, deputies are at an active situation near the 1400 block of Kinder Parkway, in the Comal Independent School District.

In a social media post, Comal ISD said the school had been placed on lockdown at 9:43 a.m. Students and staff are safe and following lockdown procedures, according to the district.
