A first-of-its-kind hearing in Guadalupe County allowed three elected county officials to speak out on the budget process, resulting in a recommended raise for one of them.
The Guadalupe County Salary Grievance Committee held its first-ever hearing Monday at the request of County Clerk Teresa Kiel, Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace John Terry and Precinct 1 Constable James Springer.
