LUBBOCK, Texas -- The Lubbock Police Department responded to a shooting at an apartment complex on 19th Street and Elkhart Ave at 5:12 a.

LUBBOCK, Texas -- The Lubbock Police Department responded to a shooting at an apartment complex on 19th Street and Elkhart Ave at 5:12 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The Lubbock Metropolitan Special Crimes unit is investigating the shooting.

LPD said officers with the Lubbock Police Department were originally called for reports of shots fired.
